Jonathan Meer

I am an assistant professor of economics at Texas A&M University. I got my Ph.D. from the Department of Economics at Stanford University in 2009 and I graduated from Princeton University in 2002 with an A.B. in Economics and a certificate in Applied & Computational Mathematics. My research interests include investigating individuals' decisions - such as whether to make a charitable donation - and their reasons for making them.
I was a member of the Princeton University Competitive Swimming and Diving Team and have continued competing. I enjoy traveling, though am frequently laden with my road or mountain bike and my camera equipment.
