Tom Nguyen

Tom is an explorer and photographer based in San Francisco, California. Officially, his forays into photography began in college, studying its science with a Nobel Laureate. But in practice, he began just playing with everyday life through a borrowed digital camera.

Tom believes that photography, like life, is defined by composition — what we decide to do with the elements we are given. Finding and framing these elements, whether amidst crowds in his old New York neighborhoods, lonely Alaskan wilderness, or temple fields in Burma, he hopes to help the world see its own often spectacular reflection.
