What is the main idea behind The Naked Frame?

We sell you limited-edition photographic art from curated collections of selected artists. By curation, we mean that we only sell a small subset of the artist’s portfolio so that you get a more focused collection

So, is everything on this site expensive?

Not really. Our prints start at $59, which is the price of going out to dinner with your family one night.

Why should I buy this instead of buying art from a department store or an art gallery?

We offer small editions of art from artists that you wouldn’t find elsewhere. Also, we offer art at prices that are much more affordable than art galleries.

How does shipping work?

We have a flat rate shipping fee of $9.50. The same fee applies whether you order a small 8×10 print or a large 20×30 print. We have waived the shipping fee on all prints until March 30th!

Do you accept returns?

Yes, we do. As long as you can ship the items back in the original condition, we will take it back within 30 days of the purchase. Do notify us before you ship anything back to us, so we can be prepared for you.

So, what exactly am I going to receive when I buy a ‘print’ here

If you choose to buy 'Just the print', you will receive a photographic print of the image. This is an unframed, unmatted image, so you can frame it in any way you want. We may add a border of 0.5" to some images to enable them to be framed.

You can also choose to buy prints that are mounted in a variety of ways, including prints on canvas wrapped around a frame, and prints made on aluminum metal. These are ready to be put up on your wall without any extra work.

I’m an artist. Can I get my work up on The Naked Frame?

We encourage artists to submit their work to The Naked Frame for consideration. Use the guidelines on the submissions page before you send us your pictures.
